Kids&Us, the leading English learning method for children in Spain, has announced the opening of its new centre in Murcia. The English academy for children from the age of one opened its doors on June 11.

The new centre has 250 sqm and was inaugurated on June 6 during an open day that allowed parents to see the facilities first-hand and learn about the revolutionary methodology taught. In addition, younger children were able to enjoy different recreational activities.

The director of the new centre, María Teresa Sánchez, stated that “we are very happy to open a new centre in Murcia, thus expanding the reach of the method that has revolutionised the traditional system of language learning thanks to a fully innovative approach based on the natural process of mother tongue acquisition.”

A revolutionary method: Kids&Us has a successful learning method based on early exposure to the language, which takes advantage of the innate learning abilities that children have at birth and enhances them with its own methodology adapted to their development.

The Kids&Us course offering ranges from one-year-old babies, who attend classes with their parents, to young people up to 18 years old, an age at which some students reach the highest levels of English proficiency. At Kids&Us, classes are dynamic and 100% in English, with small groups and courses adapted to each age group.

The stages of the Kids&Us method are divided into:

• Babies (1 and 2 years): Accompanied by two loving and friendly little mice, the youngest children will enter the world of English. This journey begins in an environment rich in emotional stimuli, where interaction is encouraged from day one and where the first words in their mother tongue and in English emerge almost at the same time.

• Kids (3 to 8 years): The Kids&Us characters grow at the same pace as the students, as they are inspired by them. Together with the protagonists of each course, students will continue learning English through situations that are very close to their interests and motivations.

• Tweens (9 to 13 years): Thanks to the oral foundation achieved in the Kids stage, Tweens students will continue advancing in the internalisation of a large number of structures and idiomatic expressions. They will consolidate reading and begin writing their first texts, through situations and characters that connect with the concerns of pre-adolescence.

• Teens (from 13 years onwards): Adolescence is a time of openness to the world in which the mind absorbs new realities and needs language to explain them. Teens courses take advantage of the new potential of the adolescent brain to make a significant step forward in language learning and enable students to communicate in many more situations and contexts.

Enrolment for the 2019–2020 academic year at the new Kids&Us Murcia centre is now open.
