Applying Responsible Investment Principles
In 2012, we became signatories to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI). In addition to applying these principles systematically within our organization, is it our mission to embed these objectives and values within each of our portfolio companies, thereby contributing to the sustainable improvement of the broader environment and generating long-term returns for society.
Including sustainability into our governance structure
We have established a robust governance framework to fully integrate responsible investment principles across the management company, its funds and portfolio companies. This framework supports informed decision-making and enables us to manage risks and capture opportunities in a changing market. Our team actively shares and contributes to this commitment by embedding sustainability into their day-to-day activities.
Integrating sustainability in the investment cycle
As part of the value creation that Corpfin brings to its portfolio companies, responsible investment principles are integrated at every stage of the investment process. Through a structured and systematic approach, we identify key issues and assess our companies’ performance in managing them, enabling us to design and approve tailored roadmaps for each portfolio company.
Complying with the SFDR Regulation
in 2022, we filed Corpfin Capital Fund V (2019) and in 2025 we also launched Corpfin Capital Fund VI, both as Article 8 Funds with the CNMV. For both funds we develop and publish our SFDR Statement, which includes how sustainability risks are integrated into our investment decisions.
We assess the principal adverse impacts (PAIs), both real and potential, that may arise from our funds’ investments on sustainability factors. We identify these PAIs during the Due Diligence phase and actively manage their mitigation throughout the entire investment period by defining and implementing specific actions to help reduce their effects. In compliance with SFDR regulation, we periodically disclose our Statement on Principal Adverse Impacts of Investment Decisions on Sustainability Factors. Declaración sobre las Principales Incidencias Adversas de las decisiones de inversión en factores de sostenibilidad.
Generating positive impact on society
We strive to make meaningful contributions to the communities in which we operate, alongside our continued evolution as a firm, by constantly seeking innovative ways to create positive social impact. In line with this commitment, in 2001 we launched the Match Programme, under which Corpfin matches employees’ annual donations to charities and foundations of their choice.
