Logiters will grow above its forecasts
The The new management team of Logiters, encabezado por su director general, Luis Marceñido, presentó, el pasado 17 de junio en una rueda de prensa celebrada en Madrid, sus proyectos y su plan estratégico a cinco años, que contempla importantes inversiones.
After closing the acquisition of FCC’s logistics division by the investment group Corpfin Capital, together with a stake held by the management team of FCC Logística itself, Luis Marceñido stated that “the company begins a new phase from a privileged position, since the separation from its parent company has resulted in a recapitalisation of debt and an improvement in the income statement as a result of the elimination of the financial burden. All of this, together with a subsequent and successful external financing operation, guarantees the necessary solidity to face future challenges.”
The CEO of Logiters, Luis Marceñido, added that “this financial boost will allow us to develop the strategic plan, which includes several investments, with the aim of achieving greater competitiveness in the market and sustainable growth. We have confirmation of growth above forecasts.”
Logiters will have greater activity
Regarding growth expectations, these are based on three pillars. “The first refers to the increase in activity with current clients, who, as shown by the results of the first half of 2014, confirm their trust in the company month by month. Secondly, it would involve increasing the number of clients, for which the organisation will strengthen its commercial team in order to maintain the same current levels of satisfaction. And finally, increasing the company’s portfolio with new services.”
It will strengthen its commercial team in order to maintain the same current levels of satisfaction.
He also highlighted as key strengths the commitment of the management team and the professionalism of the workforce, as well as the possibility of operating outside the Iberian Peninsula should opportunities arise alongside its clients.
Marceñido also explained that they have a five-year strategic plan, defined by the management team, which focuses on investment at a technological level to provide greater efficiency to the company and which, for the moment, rules out the acquisition of new companies.
