En un comunicado, la firma ha indicado que apoyará con su inversión y conocimiento los planes de la familia Vázquez, propietarios de Arenal. El grupo no ha publicado las cifras de la inversión.

In operational terms, Arenal has designed an aggressive expansion plan for the period 2016–2020 that includes the opening of 25 new stores, with the aim of doubling its size. Its strategy is based on opening stores in areas with the highest commercial potential in major cities across Spain. Currently, the company is mainly present in Galicia, Asturias and the province of León.
