Preving acquires two occupational risk prevention companies in Catalonia and Navarre

The company will combine its projects with EgarsatSP and Prevenna to form a large national specialist group in the sector

The Extremadura-based occupational risk prevention company Grupo Preving has acquired two other companies in its sector. The three firms, leaders in their respective areas of operation—Preving in the southern half of Spain, EgarsatSP in Catalonia and Prevenna in Navarre—have joined their projects to form a large national group. The new group has “the scale, experience and financial strength required in a market undergoing reorganisation.” In addition, it enables the implementation of an ambitious growth plan. The group’s growth and development expectations will allow for job creation in the region, where it already has six active branches, according to Preving in a press release.

The transaction, signed on July 30 in Madrid, “also has the backing of Corpfin Capital, one of the most recognised independent investment firms in Spain, and a long-term reference partner in the strategic and financial development of the Group in this new stage.”

According to the companies, the result is a group with extensive experience in the prevention sector, revenues of around €40 million, more than 700 employees, and 48 branches and 27 mobile units throughout Spain to serve 40,000 companies with a protected workforce of 400,000 employees. On this basis, together with the experience of its staff and a management model based on human capital, technology, quality and social responsibility, an independent specialist project in the occupational risk prevention sector in Spain will be developed. With a constant focus on the client and their needs; with geographical proximity, innovation and the provision of high-quality comprehensive services that will enable continuous improvement in the health of their workers, they state.
