The private equity fund Corpfin Capital continues its operations and has started September by announcing its entry into the shareholding of Elastorsa, a group dedicated to the manufacture of various types of plastics. With revenues of €85.2 million in 2015, 58 percent of its sales are exported outside Spain.

The current shareholders will remain in the company’s shareholding, with a 45 percent stake. From Corpfin Capital they stated that “we will provide the expansion project with the necessary financial resources and more than 25 years of experience, fully trusting the management team that has made Elastorsa what it is today”.

With this transaction, the private equity fund adds another investment this year: the latest was in the healthcare technology group Palex Medical, at the beginning of last June. In March, Corpfin Capital also acquired the perfume retail chain perfumerías Arenal.

In addition, at the end of June it completed two significant divestments: the cadena de mascotas Kiwoko (que vendió a TA Associates) y Logiters (which it sold to ID Logistics).
