European Camping Group (ECG), a European leader in outdoor accommodation, has successfully completed the acquisition of Alannia, Spain\u2019s largest operator of large-scale camping resorts. The deal enables ECG to expand into the Spanish market under the Alannia brand, adding a network of sites that offer nearly 10,000 accommodation units. Alannia\u2019s resorts will join ECG\u2019s portfolio, which spans 11 European countries and includes more than 450 destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alannia was founded in 1997 by Alicante-based Grupo Marjal, owned by the Fur and G\u00f3mez families. With the partnership of Corpfin Capital since 2018, the company experienced significant growth, quadrupling revenues and becoming the leading operator in the sector in Spain. Their investment in the development and expansion of the Alannia Resorts brand led to its shift into a modern, open-air hospitality proposition, offering an immersive, high-quality customer experience that has been recognised with a number of major national and European awards. The Alannia network has grown to five establishments, with three new resorts located on the Costa Dorada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
