Another part of the capital will remain in the hands of the company\u2019s main executives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in 1991,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corpfincapital.com\/investment\/acuntia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Acuntia<\/a>&nbsp;is headquartered in Madrid and has six branches across Spain. The group designs, implements, maintains and monitors telecommunications networks for more than 300 clients, including a large number of companies listed on the IBEX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company closed 2014 with revenues of \u20ac69 million and expects growth of 20% for 2015, which will take sales above \u20ac83 million and operating profit (EBITDA) to \u20ac8 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group\u2019s management is headed by Jos\u00e9 Manuel S\u00e1nchez as CEO, Emilio Caba\u00f1as (General Manager) and Anabel L\u00f3pez (Head of Finance). With a workforce of 270 professionals, Acuntia has plans to strengthen its growth in the large clients segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It is the second investment for the GPF Capital group in Spain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For GPF Capital, this is its second investment in Spain. Its first investment took place before the summer, with an \u20ac8 million capital injection into Queser\u00eda Ib\u00e9rica, manufacturer of Sant\u00e9 cheeses, located in Palencia. GPF was founded by four young entrepreneurs: Guillermo Castellanos, Lorenzo Mart\u00ednez de Albornoz, Ignacio Olascoaga and Mart\u00edn Rodr\u00edguez-Fraile. The group currently manages a fund of more than \u20ac100 million backed by private investors from Spain and 11 countries in Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ur\u00eda Men\u00e9ndez has advised GPF and the law firm Alemany has worked for Corpfin Capital.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It operates in the so-called&nbsp;<strong>Spanish mid-market<\/strong>&nbsp;segment, investing between \u20ac10 million and \u20ac20 million of capital per transaction, supporting top management teams in companies with clear growth opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.corpfincapital.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Corpfin Capital<\/a>is an independent private equity firm with more than 25 years of experience in the Spanish market. It currently manages funds amounting to more than \u20ac450 million. The group acquired Acuntia from Telindus Group (Belgacom) in June 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legal advisors to the transaction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GPF Capital received legal advice from Ur\u00eda Men\u00e9ndez.
