Kids&Us, language school \u2013 Expansi\u00f3n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The private equity firm Corpfin Capital<\/a> has acquired a majority stake in the children\u2019s English teaching chain<\/strong> Kids & Us<\/a> in order to accelerate its growth and internationalisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 376 franchised centres, the company, headquartered in Manresa, was founded 15 years ago. In 2016 it generated \u20ac18 million in revenue, although the combined business of the academies amounts to \u20ac84 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The founders of the chain, the philologist Nat\u00e0lia Perarnau and the economist Quim Serracanta, will retain a minority stake and will continue to lead the business in this new stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kids&Us currently has 115,000 students and its objective is to reach 200,000 by 2020. In international markets, its most immediate objective is entry into the Japanese market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
